Each year, a half-day IOI conference is held within IOI to encourage informatics educators and IOI coaches to exchange and share the latest trends in informatics education.

Authors from the annual OLYMPIADS IN INFORMATICS journal will present their papers at the forum and share their latest insights. Topics include the latest developments in computing methods, the teaching of algorithms and programming, development of informatics curriculum, and more.
